Hello Everyone, I'm New - Blu-ray Forum

Hi Folks, I'm Rick. I have been reading this forum for over a year and it's about time I posted

I have about 40 Bluray movies and have been Bluray since the High Def "War" started, and thankfully ended. And, a Home Theater enthusiast for years. Hope to post and talk more on this forum. Thanks for the fun and all the information on movies. It's been really helpful

Thanks everyone. No problems no far, and none for years. The only thing I ever encounter is firmware upgrades. I was 2 versions old and Batman Begins wouldn't play. As soon as I loaded the movie I knew the problem. 3.60 to 3.85 on the BSP-S1 and I was in in business.

Warner is cruising on it's HD-DVD releases to Bluray, with acceptable results. But they need to take some lessons from Sony. I don't have the receiver for lossless audio, so I'm only decoding the core, but when I do upgrade, I want lossless audio on everything I buy, and BD 50 format.

Sounds like warner is taking this to heart
