Ok- so watched the movie last nite. The only thing GOOD THING iHave to say about this movie is the PQ and SQ; however, it is by far one of the most PREDICTABLE flick that WE'VE ALL SEEN BEFORE! If you've seen The Ring or The Grudge- you've seen SHUTTER already.

Do yourself a FAVOR and save your $$$$$$

I watched it last night on DVD (Netflix didn't ship me the Blu), anyways it is predictable and I fell asleep towards the end of the movie. If you like the japanease horror flicks like the ring, one missed call, or the grudge then you will like the movie. I would wait for a huge price drop before I would buy this one.

Watched it last night as well. No where near on par with The Grudge or The Ring.

it was much better than the grudge thats for sure. Obviously The Ring is the best asian remake, then the eye.

I enjoyed it I thought I would hate it as I have not liked most recent horror flicks. Pq was good sound was very good. Not bad. I would not buy it though.

I agree, The Ring was the best remake; but the eye was better than shutter.

To me, it goes The Ring, The Grudge (Director's Cut), The Eye and then Shutter. Shutter was absolute garbage... Wasn't there a thread created for this already though? Just yesterday actually...

I fell asleep. One of the worst movies of 2008. This was terrible. Everybody, AVOID IT!

I'm not really sorry I bought Shutter, but I could've waited.

I didn't think it was scary at all, because the dead chick reminded me of at least two of my ex-girlfriends.

It is sad though that not only was this incredibly predictable, but I was calling shot sequences five and ten minutes in advance. I'm good...but never THAT good.

In any case, it is still a good Blu-Ray and if you like the Foxy little Sexy from Transformers, she's in it the whole time. It's cute to watch her fake her way through an American accent.
