"Bonusview" - Blu-ray Forum

What is "bonus view?" Can someone please explain the concept to me? I do not own a Blu Ray player, so dummy the explanation down for me. I was reading the thread on the Sony350 player and there was a lengthy discussion about the "bonus view" capabilities and I have no idea what that is. Thanks
