Default Steelbook trasnfer reviews?

i recently ordered 5 steelbooks from canada of movies that i currently have in my collection... i haven't seen any reviews of the transfers that come with the steels and i was planning on keeping the better transfer and selling or trading the standard case/artwork with whichever transfer i choose not to keep... does anyone know of a site that has screen comparisons?... here are the ones i ordered and the standard version i have... any info would be appreciated!

-Kill Bill Vol 1 & 2 (canada steelbook)... have u.s. version of 1 & 2 (disney/buena vista)
-Sin City (canada steelbook)... have u.s. unrated/uncut/extended version (disney/buena vista)
-American History X (canada steelbook)... have u.s. version (new line)
-From Dusk Till Dawn (canada steelbook)... have canada version (alliance)

most of these steelbooks repackage old discs and CA blus are typically identical in content to their US counterparts anyways. of your 5 steels, Kill Bill 1&2, Sin City and AHX are repackagings. FDTD is the only new disc as it now has extras and uses the Echo Bridge transfer.

Do you know if that would apply to the steelbook versions of:
2001: A Space Odyssey
Full Metal Jacket

They are repackages as well with identical transfers.

Only Canadian exclusive releases from Alliance have different transfers. For example, the original Scream trilogy was exclusive to Canada and have different transfers than the US ones which came much later. However, once the Scream 1-4 packs were released both in the USA and Canada, the Alliance release of 1-4 uses the US transfer.

In general, if Alliance is the Canadian distributor and the release (as in the movie itself, not packaging) is not exclusive to Canada, it will always have the USA transfer. Same for other distributors.
