Thoughts on Heathers' cover art... - Blu-ray Forum

I hope they come up with a better cover than was used on the DVD. I thought it made the movie look like 'Cocktail' with Wynona Ryder. We borrowed it from a friend who assured us it was good. It sat next to the TV forever, because the cover made it seem like it would suck. Finally watched it and it's great.

Oh, by the way, if you haven't checked the 'News' area, Heathers is coming out in blu-ray.

There's some complaints over on AVS that the master for the BD of Heathers is the same one they used for their most recent DVD, which was apparently DNR heavy.

Anchor Bay released HEATHERS three times on DVD. The first cover was the artwork used on the soundtrack that came out in '89 and on some foreign one-sheets.

The second release featured several covers. The tin edition "back to school" featured artwork similar to theatrical posters, and then there were 5 different single disc editions. One with Winona (the version that would stay in print the longest), one with Slater, and one with each of the three "Heathers".

Then we got Cult edition slipcover one, which had Winona's version underneath, and the most recent anniversary one.

So...lots of possibilities.
