I have a really big collation of regular dvds and got a PS3 and a ble-ray movie wow got me sold know I am taking all my other ones back to FYE getting credit and getting them on blu-ray.

Good Plan,

When I had a local FYE,.. I was doing the same but they closed it down.

Now, I take DVD's to Newbury comics for an average of $2 each.

As I replace them with the new Blu Rays, I'm planning to give away my James Bond DVDs instead of selling them. (Giving them to my step dad.)

I have lots of DVDs of great movies that I love (Star Wars, LotR, Back to the Future, Alfred Hitchcock films, Scarface,.. tons of stuff.) But,.. I can't wait to rebuy it all on Blu whenever I can.

Rather than trading DVD's for a ridiculous $2, why don't you donate them to your local public library?

why not try and sell them to friends and family who haven't jumped on the blu-ray train yet...

I sold my National Treasure, 300, Night at the Museum, and Transformers and got 33 dollars back in return.

we still have about 40 DVDs that my wife wanted to keep, but I just can't watch them anymore. The only DVDs i plan to keep are my 5-box Kids in the Hall set. Can't see that coming to blu anytime soon.

Fye gave me shit...so i've still got around 300 left....I'm inbetween throwing them on ebay ..again or just donating them to my local library and getting my name on the wall lol. Dvd's aren't worth anything anymore.

Welcome to the world of Blu. I still have some of my faves on DVD that aren't on Blu-ray yet (LotR, Star Wars, a few others). But, all I buy is Blu. I might look thru the $5 bin at Wal*Mart once in awhile. But, I don't buy anything.
