Okay, say you searching on the internet and found a blu ray movie cheaper then walmart or best buy. You really want this movie, would you wait and buy it cheaper on the internet or would you just go out and buy it? I know some of you going ask the difference between the prices and let say around 5 or 7 dollers altogether.

If it's a couple bucks I'll usually just buy it. For the example of 5-7 bucks, I'd probably wait. OR, I'd buy it, keep the receipt, order one online, and return that one to the store where I bought the first one. Done that quite a few times, especially when finding titles early.

as long as the website is a reputable one, then you should go with the website.
if walmart has the blu for $15 and pacosbluraystacosandmariachibands.com supposedly has it for $8, id be a little cautious, but if its amazon,buy.com,etc. go with the website. |

I actually ordered The Mummy and The Mummy Returns a day before it was released from family video and I had to wait almost 2 and a half weeks for them to arrive and they actually shipped them from IL where I reside. I was a bit annoyed by that. I wanted my Mummy movie cash for that my brother and I could go see the new Mummy movie on opening day, lol. I also had some shipping problems with Warner. I buy wherever I can find them cheap and that is making purchasing through Amazon less frequent. The loss of the 10% discount has really slowed down my preorders with them. Family Video is very competitive on a number of titles. The Godfather Trilogy Restoration is way cheaper as are the Universal Studios Blu-ray Bundles being offered. And although they charge your card right away, the service I have experienced so far is better than Amazon. I received my discs a day after release and I didn't have to shell out $79 for the pleasure. Shipping was free with the code supplied in another thread. The Warner Online store used to be a tuff choice—cheap prices (with 30% off code) but awful service. But now the Warner Store is jacking up prices and the 30% off code no longer works. I have a few titles still on preorder but I won't be ordering again until the 30% is offered again. I also use a local chain called Zia Records. They have a great selection of used Blu-rays that are quite a bit cheaper than new. I simply pop them into a shiny new case. I have never come across a scratched Blu.

This is what I do
I but the movie I want in the store, whether its $20 or $30 I get it in store. Then I wait until I find it for really cheap on BRB.com and then I order it from there, and return it to the store I bought the other copy from |

Depends on the movie!
Cloverfield was on Amazon for 19 bucks. Cloverfield was at Wal-Mart for 39.99. I bought it from Wal-Mart... there was absolutely no way i was gonna wait for that to ship. ![]() Actually, I ONLY buy movies that i CAN wait for off Amazon... Everything else is 40 bucks from Future Shop or Wal-Mart. :/ Its a bad habbit... but i just hate waiting for things. |

I usually buy online unless I have a gift card to a retail store. The 10% discount being taken away by Amazon REALLY slowed my orders down from them. If I can get the movies within a couple bucks more locally I do. For example I picked up THE MUMMY and MUMMY RETURNS from Wal-mart as they were both under $20.

if its a new release like Transformers or Iron man i usually cant wait if its in the store the same day.. often here in ireland we get the releases in store on the friday before the monday... prices can be crazy though.. at least a 3rd more in one store... trouble is they are the only ones with a decent selection of titles
![]() e.g. they were selling the Tudors Series one for 59.99 euro.. another store had it for 21.99 euro! 3 times the price |

Here in Australia, blu's are priced between 30-40 dollars each. There is no way in hell I would not buy from online. Plus I imported my PS3 so I could watch region A movies. I can wait the 7-10 days they take to arrive from overseas.

I buy the cheapest regardless of where it is. Waiting is not really an issue, my watch shelf always has 3-4 on it(finally got it down from the 30 or so during the BOGO's
