Haha! Never seen We're Back and Carnosaur was dreadful. I enjoy the book, though, and would love to see a faithful adaptation. Outside of maybe a couple minor similarities, the movie has almost nothing in common with the book. I first read it in 1993 when I was 14 and felt like I was getting away with something right under my parents' noses, as it's filled with gory dino violence and sex. (Sex between humans, not dinos. )

So, um, yeah . . .

I can't help but wonder if, subtly, the prevalence of dinosaur movies in my year of birth caused me to develop my interest in paleontology at a young age...
