Default Insignia + Spherex=Yes!!!

I know how popular & good all the Polk, Def tech, B&W, Paradigm and such are, but for those operating under YSHM limitations, the Insignia NS-B2111 is really better than most people would give it credit for. As stated in another thread, I went the route of the “phantom center” channel, and appreciate the wide, solid soundstage these speakers produce (being as they are a KEF knock-off). As for the surrounds, the borrowed Omnipolar technology of these little Spherex speakers is phenomenal. Yes, I know it’s ideal to have all the speakers voice/timbre matched, but the spaciousness these speakers create really lends to a great surround effects set up. At only $29 a pair, they’re a steal! The effect is too much for the front IMO, but the Insignias do a great job of making an expansive soundstage, and stereo music sounds like it should.
