Default Lost Boys(2): The Tribe - Blu-ray

I remember watching The Lost Boys all the time when I was younger, I personally cant wait for this blu-ray release on July 29th... starring 3 of the original cast members..

I consider Lost Boys one of my favorite mvies of all time. I am sticking to being weary about this one, for fear that they will ruin my love for the first. Early on, one of the plot synopsis' actually sounded decent, which gave me a little hope, so I'll be renting it for sure.

I don't have high hopes for this one. And from what I've read, Haim's appearance is just a cameo.

I'm expecting a mediocre BD release for this. Hope I'm wrong.

i say that because the first one is the kind of movie that dosent need a sequel and all the bad guys died and they were as big a part of the movie as the good guys so it will be all new people except Feldman....theres no way the second one will come close.

I dont know how good a sequel can be, especially since it sounds like more of a remake than anything. The orginal is still great.

Actually Haim, Feldman and the other Frog brother return in this one for one thing.
And as for the last one, why would they be the only vampires in the world?

The movie itself is not bad at all. And yes Haim's participation is only a cameo. Though the actor and character of Alan Frog are in the credits, I didn't see him in it. He is mentioned a couple times, but I don't think he actually got any screen time.
I could get stabbed here, but I actually liked "The Tribe" better than the first one.

What made it better than the original in your opinion?

If their reality show is to be believed, they tried to shoot a scene with both Alan Frog and Corey Haim, but Haim was too strung out on something to handle it. That scene was at a beach, probably someone came up with the new thing as a stinger later down the line.

[Show spoiler]It looks like they borrowed one of Buffy's vamp prosthetics and slapped it on Haim

Corey Haim was obv. coke, and pills(couldnt really narrow it down on the pills though)... which made him slur words, forget lines, and start arguments with the producers on set of lost boys 2..

i do see he has a leading role in CRANK 2: High Foltage along with Jason Statham who is the returning lead role

The show is heavily scripted, I wouldn't put it past them to fabricate the whole thing to be honest
