Default Animated "Hulk vs. Wolverine" movie coming to Blu-ray

I guess no one watches the TV Guide channel because I haven't seen this mentioned yet. On their special about the recent San Diego Comic-Con they had a little segment about this direct to video animated feature from Marvel. It's premiering on DVD and Blu-ray in January of 2009.

They showed several clips and the animation looked good. At least better than what I've seen from other animated Marvel projects. The story for "Hulk vs. Wolverine" is going to be loosely based on the comic book history between the two characters (they've had several memorable run-ins over the years).

It was discussed in the Comic-Con coverage a couple of weeks back. Also mentioned was the animated Wonder Woman blu-ray due a month later (February).

I saw the video on marvel.com along with some Iron-man animated shorts. They all looked good.

It was a great "What if?" comic that came out in the early 80's and a great one at that.

Hey Clark, Who cares about Marvel, stop promoting them , DC is gonna be pissed you started this thread. It was announced a couple weeks ago and was on the news portion of the website too. You should be more happy about Superman: Doomsday coming to Blu or us in Justice League.... Good Times.

Batman: I've got some things to say. I should've said them when you were here, but... Despite our differences, I have nothing but respect for you. I hope you knew... know that. You showed me justice doesn't always have to come from the darkness. I'll miss...
(explosion in distance)
Batman: What did you always call it, Clark? The Neverending Battle?

Not sure if this was mentioned already or not in this thread (just skimmed the it), but for those that dont know, it's actually a '2 pack'. Called "Hulk vs...", there are two stories, Hulk vs Wolverine, and Hulk vs Thor. Each separate 'movies', running somewhere between 35-45 minutes, if I remember correctly.

Now that I think about it, what was the final word on Justice league season 1? Is it definitely going to be the 4:3 ratio?

i think so unfortunately, but look on the bright side, it will still look great and i think there is a setting to change it to full screen on the PS3, but i think that is only for DVDs... not sure

The Justice League Blu-ray needs to be supported if we are to see the rest of the series (which is definitely in widescreen form already). I'm going off-topic in my own thread. Now back to your regularly scheduled program.
