Default Hey, people. New Blu-Ray. Not Playing Movies

Hey, Guys!

It's simple. Today I bought a new Sony Blu-Ray and rented the movie DOOMSDAY on Blu-ray and when I insert the disc it takes a while to load and after I press PLAY, the player just turns OFF and starts over again. Regular DVD are playing FINE.

ANy help, should I returnit and get a New ONE?

thanks for the advice!

Ed.

here for the link. Want some advice? If you can spare the difference, return the 301 and look for a 350. Faster load times, more audio decodes, better, better, better.

Oh, that .exe will decompress to a .iso image of a CD. Burn that .iso to a CD and remember to finalize. Insert CD into your 301 and it'll take a 20'ish minutes to fully complete. Make sure you follow the instructions to the letter.

My Pop has the BDP-S300 which is the same hardware. I keep his player on current firmware and he has no playback issues. I'm confident this will solve the playback/reboot issue.
