PSN ID....okay now what? - Blu-ray Forum

So I set up a PSN ID and created the name and linked it and did all that.

I can't EDIT it until I actually get my PS3 (should arrive on Friday) cause it says you can edit it through the console.

My question is what do I do with it?

I mean, I realize that with the 360 one they have the "Gamer Tag" so it shows your name and your rank (I believe) or something along those lines.

Can you do the same thing with the PS3 one?

And everyone post up your psn ID tag name or whatever it's called. lol. Can you tell I'm new to this?

My PSN ID is "ratpacker7613"

You can't really edit a whole lot unfortunately. You can change your avatar, but there aren't many. You can put a "quote" that everybody else will see your avatar as saying when they go to your name, and you could put what launguages you speak. You can put some short info under "about me". That's pretty much it that I could think of off the top of my head.

Right now there is not much you can do with it. It will eventually get better with more trophies and Home coming out.

Well the only game I have is one that I got with my system from the person I bought it from: Gran Turismo: Prologue.

I'm gonna get a few more games when I get the chance, such as Soul Caliber IV, Fight Night Round 4 and Madden '09
