I would go 37" if you have the option, otherwise it looks good. Also, if you want to save a few $ check out the Vizio's, I use one of mine mostly for video games and actually like it better then the Sammy for video games. Movies look good too, and I am only using an upconversion dvd player. I play all my older Xbox games on my 32" Vizio. I like it so much I actually play there more than the Xbox 360 on my Sammy. Go Figure!

Dont go with a Vizio, get something with the best PQ with deep blacks and less motion blur so you wont have a buyers remorse. You wont go wrong this Panasonic LCD.

Was thinking of 1080P but read earlier on this site that at 32inches, 1080p wont be very different than 720p or 1080i

Couple things.......

1) what you read, was either WRONG, or you misinterperated it..... You can notice a difference from 1080p to 720p on a 32" set, but if you're going to have it in your bedroom, I'd assume 720p is PLENTY, unless you keep your T.V. on your bedside table (if it's more than 5 feet away, you won't really be able to tell a difference)

2) Most people urge you to go "BIGGER" I'd say 32" is a great size for a bedroom.... I have a 32" in the bedroom right now (and it's a large bedroom) and I would like to replace it with a 27" set just to take up less room, and look nicer..... It's your bedroom, not a movie-theater.... 32" set is PLENTY big.....

3) if it's just for your "bedroom set" then a cheap brand is fine (in my opinion) but make sure you get a good warranty, because for some things, you really DO get what you pay for.

Have fun with the new T.V.

I've got a 42" plasma in our BR, and I couldn't imagine going any smaller. I'll temper this by saying that the reason I have this set in the bedroom is due to upgrade-itis. It was our family room set years ago, but has since been replaced by upgraded sets twice, thus relegating it to the BR. As for whether or not you'll want/need 1080p, my set is an old EDTV plasma (480p) and looks just fine at the ~10' viewing distance.
