When is it? I have the SDVD but I want to on blu!

It has been released in the UK, and you could most likely import it for $35. The US release has not been announced, or even mentioned.

It is available in Japan, UK, Germany, and France via Buena Vista. The Columbia Sony version should be out end of 08-early 09 I would imagine.

i guess you must know but it has been released for months in different european countries and is region free for several of them(such as england for expl) i m french and know it s bee released her too, but don t kow if is region free either, anyways here s the link

I would figure the same. Both Sony and WB seem to be set on releasing the rest of Wolfgang Petersen's more recent works, this year. Granted, The Perfect Storm was already out on HD DVD, but Sony just released In the Line of Fire and WB has Outbreak coming in the next few months. That could also mean a US Das Boot release may not be too far out, either.

I imported the UK version from Amazon UK. Got it within a week of ordering.

Great picture & sound. I got tired of waiting for a U.S. release.

I'm glad I did. The picture & uncompressed soundtrack definitely made it worth it.

The LPCM track is reference all the way. The PQ ranges from good to excellent though it doesn't pop considering majority of the filming being done in tight interiors. Being a Super 35 film, grain is visible throughout the presentation but it looks very natural. Colors never bleed. The best aspect of this BD is the LPCM track which puts even the recent mixes to shame.

Air Force One was listed on the recently expired Buy 2 Get 1 Free Sale in amazon.co.uk.

It's been out for a while but no announcement for the US. I may have to import it.
