Default How is this Plasma TV?

I currently have a Samsung LCD that i haven't even had for a year and i feel that i made a mistake and should have got a plasma. I'm researching Plasmas and this one caught my eye:
http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-Vier...8264136&sr=1-3
If anyone has this tv how is it?and i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to sell the Samsung LCD so i can get the Plasma
Thanks!!

good decision. I bought a 40 inch Samsung LCD (SAM LN40a550) and was not impressed at all. Doing some research and finding out all the misconceptions out about plasmas i found out (A. Life expectance is like over 15 years B. New Panny Plasma has anti reflective screen to reduce glare C. Burn in problems are no longer a issue with the new pixel shifer.) I mostly watch movies and the colors are so natural and great black levels. I am so glad i bought a panasonic plasma.

Looks good to me, I've got a Panny plasma and I still love it. It's only 720p and 2 years old but the picture is awesome.

You can't go wrong with a Panny Plasma...

You probably would have liked the 650 or 750 series much better even though that are a lot more money those are the higher end displays.

Burn in can still happen, my friend bought a plasma and I own one now, he had major burn in on his, and I have very minor, but I do love watching movies on it. When I was doing research all the sales men told me that burn in was no longer going to happen, but they were wrong so just don't leave an image up for too long and enjoy the movies.

That would be a very good plasma. Suggestion for the LCD, it would make an excellent tv for your bedroom.

and CRT... and I'm sure you can ruin the lamp on projectors... basically if you treat your TV or viewing device like a piece of technology and not a piece of furniture, you should get many, many happy years of use.

The only way to beet the PQ on a Panasonic plasma is to go for a Kuro plasma.

Enjoy. Tons of threads on this panel. You should be able to find a ton of info about it.
