I'm guessing "approximately" means in this case how ever many projects DreamWorks gets out during the year. They don't actually finish more than 5-7 movies a year anyway right? at least for the last 3 years.

Didn't they choose Universal to distribute DreamWorks' movies at first? What happened to that??

They came to a very basic deal, but had been 100% committed to it. And in the months since they've been negotiating the exact terms, in which Universal walked away from. Now, I hope that with this that Disney gets all the catalog stuff and anything released between now and the 2010 date announced, namely Transformers 2. Imagine if that comes as a BD exclusive, even if only for a few days (like a few titles Disney has coming this spring).

Universal backed out of that deal when they found out Paramount was trying to get a better deal with Disney. To be honest I am happy Dreamworks' titles will be encoded and authored by Disney now on Blu-ray.

Interesting. I take it Disney will be doing the encoding work when Transformers II comes to Blu-ray?
