United Kingdom Resident Evil Afterlife. 3-D/2-D 10th January 2010

Not long now till the 4th movie comes out in eye popping 3-D. Can't wait to add to my collection.

The transfer will be amazing mate, but the film is awful! Honestly, it's just rubbush slow motion "crapness", the action is just silly. The only good thing about the film is the end credits...

I love this movie. Best in the series. The ultra stylised intro and the bone shaking soundtrack are awesome. Wesker was played well (I liked the smirk) and the general overblown action scenes kicked arse. I can't wait for it to arrive.

I saw it in IMAX 3D and the rain at the beginning and the water particles in the shower scene were stunning. I don't have a 3D setup yet but this movies makes me look forward to getting one!

Yeah I saw it in 3D in the cinema, and the 3D effects were amazing. Guns were popping right out and rain falling everywhere with bullets flying all around. Audio will be pure Demo material.

Looking forward to spinning the 3D blu in my set up.

Seriously, Wesker! I hated him as a character, he was badly acted, in fact the whole film was badly acted, but that's just my opinion.

Mine arrived today. I bought the 3D release and can confirm that it plays fine on 2D equipment (both on a Sony Vaio AR61M blu-ray drive and on a Sony BPD-S300).

After a quick look, the PQ and the AQ are awesome. Can't wait to watch it in full at some point over the weekend .

Watched this in 3D yesterday and it looks amazing loads of pop out scenes, and the depth in the picture is awesome.

Just posted a user review for this on the UK version page.

Unfortunatly I only have the 2D version, and after seeing it in 3D at the cinema, I was pining to watch it in 3D again as alot of scenes were set up specifically for it. Its a good film, but the certain parts did irritate me. I think you can guess which parts. :P

Anyways to sum up what I put in the review: Movie: 4/5 PQ 4.5/5 AQ 4.5/5 SF 4.5/5

I was thinking of getting this and something else in the 2 for £20 mymemory deal. Is there any reason not to get the 3D version? I could get the 3D or standard version in the deal and my PS3 should be able to play it, although my TV wouldn't be able to display in 3D.

The most ridiculous movie I've seen in ages, I enjoyed it a lot but if you like your action realistic look elsewhere, this is pure nonsense. PQ and AQ both excellent (2D version here). Ending was a bit odd.
