How about a Law & Order: SVU movie?

SVU has been on TV for a very successful 9 seasons, with season 10 premiering soon. What would everyone think of a movie based on their show?

i would absolutely LOVE to see an SVU movie, i am a big fan of all of the incarnations of law and order. if i only was able to pick one to be made into a movie though, it would have to be criminal intent.

easiest solution to this problem? make a law and order movie that crosses over all of the different versions of the show, using characters from each one, possibly with a serial killer/rapist theme? (im not a perv, i just had to throw in the rapist part to bring in the SVU team) it would be a shame that they wouldnt be able to have jerry orbach bring lenny briscoe to the big screen though

I'm actually surprised a few haven't been made. SVU is my favorite "brand" right now, but I like all three. SVU has definitely had the hottest DA's.

The original Law & Order is ok, but I really don't get into Criminal Intent at all. It just seems like they put their best actors on SVU. No matter what off character it is on SVU, they're always really good at it, were as on CI, they're not always as good. But I like your idea of bringing some of the main characters together to solve one huge crime, that would work good. But if anything, an SVU movie alone I think would be great enough. I can see a movie like that doing huge at the box office.
