Default Blu Ray menu specs

First, Hello!

This is my first post, as I have a question for this community. I have done my best to search through forum, but have not found a definite answer.

I'm producing my first Blu-Ray disc, and will be outsourceing the whole authoring aspect. I'm used to makeing regular DVDs, but am in need of the exact Menu Specs/resolutions.

I normally generate 720 by 480 menu's for my regular DVDs but what is the exact pixel dimension that I need to generate for a Blu-Ray menu.

Secondly, what is the active area for the Menu?

Any assistance or a simple link to where I can find this would help me out.

Thank You in advance.

Wouldn't it be 1920 x 1080? That's "full frame" for a 16:9 1080p set.

Default Free Blu-ray Authoring Wikipapers..

The free white papers (called wikipapers) might also come in handy as you prepare for you first BD title. Here is the link to those papers: http://dostudio.netblender.com/wikip...wikipapers.asp
