Has anyone pre-ordered their Indiana Jones Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Blu-rays yet? - Blu-ray Forum

I just pre-ordered by Blu-ray copy of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull on Amazon a few minutes ago. I'm so excited!! Will anyone else be doing it too??

I did so what if they only come in a quad pack when the first three come out. It's not like most people don't double dip. Maybe at that point someone in my family will have gotten in to blu and they can get a free movie.

The Blu-Ray MSRP is the same as the 2-Disc DVD. So I'll wait for in store deals.

DON'T PREORDER YOUR MOVIES PEOPLE!...what do you really have to gain? They are using preorders as a device to gauge the willingness to pay $27.95. If it doesn't have a lot of preorders, you can bet Amazon will drop the price... I am waiting on all of these over-priced titles. By Christmas they are gonna be competing for your business and there will be all kinds of discounts being offered on discs.

Plus, while Amazon usually tends to have the better prices on Blu-Ray, I prefer not to place my order more than a week before the movie comes out (if even that early.. it's usually more like a couple of days before release) because there's the possibility of finding a better deal elsewhere.

And with this being Indiana Jones, they are going to have tons of copies with more on the way, so it's not like you are at risk of waiting through some huge back order if you order closer to when it comes out.

Plus for this particular release, I am waiting just in case they do announce the entire series coming out all at once. If that doesn't happen, I will still likely get this on Blu-Ray, but just order it closer to the release date.

I pre-ordered. Amazon adjusts its price so its lower than (or as low as) the competition. So if Best Buy is selling it on 10/14 at $21.99 and Circuit City is selling it at $19.99, Amazon will charge me $19.95. Thats what they've done in the past.

NOT gonna pre-order it...still trying to figure out a good scenario to get the 'crystal skull' replica from the DVD gift set AND the blu-ray without spending that much cash on the 4th-best IJ movie! I wish these gift sets would start going blu-ray. It seems like such a logical way of pushing the format!!!
