Default Polk 6750 vs Polk tsi400

I'm thinking of buying a set of the new TSI400 to use as my fronts instead of the 6750 collection. Will I notice a big difference...worth $800 for the new fronts and a new center?

The difference between the little satellites of the 6750 and the TSi400 floorstandings should be notable to your ear - you'd get more low-end frequency out of your towers and I would like to say that you would cover more frequency ranges out of the towers.

Although, depending on the size of your room and your receiver - it might not matter as much. I've personally been considering either the TSi500 series or the RTi A7s - the satellites are nice for a smaller room or bedroom, but for a distinct advantage in larger spaces, I'd definitely recommend the towers. Try listening to them at Best Buy now that thy got the 400s in. It's all a matter of balancing your budget, requirements, etc.

You might also look at the Klipsch F2 fronts and C2 center. I was all set to buy the Polk tsi400 and after auditioning the two I just felt , to my ear, the Klipsch sounded better.

Pricing should be pretty close. a lot of BB has the Klipsch on sale now.
