Default wordst case scenario for fay

they are saying the worst case for fay now could be that when it cross back over flordia and heads toe hte gulf it could strengthen, head to texas, and turn back and head twards Virginia/Ny

Weather patterns are really strange in my opinion. I mean Over here in Europe we never EVER have hurricanes or twisters or earthquakes.
A heavy rain is the worst that happens here and even those are quite rare

In Europe, you just have invasions, (Didn't Russia just say Poland risks invasion because it accepted a US proposal to put missiles there? )

Luckily, I'm in South Florida, and we were drenched for 3 days - shocked that Fay is still right over central/northern Florida.

And to Harley, we don't care about you either. Go boost up your post count elsewhere.

Send that rain our way, BIG TIME, but curve the storm around the states and through the Gulf and give them a break.

Ivan did the same thing, it missed me here in NOLA, and went north east, hooked around and hit us as a tropical storm. I'm watching this hoping it doesn't hit me next week because I have a vacation planned, and it's looking it might be here around the time I am supposed to be leaving.

Also ... I don't want another hurricane/tropical storm!

I remember Hurricane Elena back in '85 because we were evacuated twice. First the storm headed to the NW panhandle causing the first evacuation. Next, it turned and went near Tampa, I believe and we were allowed to return. But then the storm reversed direction again and ended up brushing the Panhandle again eventually making landfall in Biloxi, MISS. Not the most damaging of storms that I've been in, but I remember how stressed out residents were since they had to 'weather' the same storm twice in a week. Fay is pretty unique in that it seems that it will affect the entire state before it is done and it is such a slow moving system giving it more time to do so much more damage.

These storms seem to have a mind of their own sometimes.

I remember vacationing down on the beach when Andrew hit, good luck to you guys who are affected. Hopefully it wont turn into a mess.

Storms like this affect us all whether in humanity or in the pocketbook if it hits natural gas or oil rigs...

No . . . you're just another one of the ever-increasing worthless members who provide nothing of value yet still feel the need to insert some sort of comment.
