Default Would u buy this Mits...? For a grand more!

Well guys as some of you know Ive been posting ?'s about buying a 32" for the bedroom. Today I was in a Bust Buy Magnolia store and they had a 42" Mitsubishi LCD 1080p 120htz bad boy on sale and ready to be set up in my home, so to speak. Man I was there a hr. contra plating buying this TV so I decided to go home and sleep on it before making a decession. The Mits. was regularly priced at 2,500 and they have it for like 1,700 which for this type of a TV is smoking I think. The 32" I was going to get was like 799.00... if you do the math I'm looking at about 900.oo extra for 10" and a better tv in general. One ?, would you spend the extra and get the Mits...? Thanks in advance for all input and help.

BTW....Here is the link to that....

Mitsubishi makes an excellent Rear Projection and DLP, but LCD? well, I would stick with Sony or Samsung for an LCD.

But Id take a Panny plasma over either. Especially in the bedroom.

well if that's the case then I guess the Mits. will have to take the backseat to the Panny..

Seriously I guess I'm gonna have to go check both out side by side and decide from there. I will say that the Mits did have one bad as*s picture compared to alot of the other tv's that were around it.....

A friend of mine has a 52" Mitsubishi LCD and he loves it. I haven't personally seen the PQ, but he is quite happy with it.

Just know that if you have to deal with customer service or tech support you're screwed. I purchased a 65" Mits 2 years ago and I am replacing it this Christmas with a Kuro. I will never, I repeat never buy anything from Mitsubishi again.

Do you have your heart set on LCD? I have a 57" Toshiba DLP rear projection and I paid only $1600. The model name is in my sig, its a 2008.
