My old dv9000 just took a dump so I bought a new DV7. Just thought I like to gloat a bit. Now I can take my BLU's with me.

Very cool! id love a bd laptop, how are your HP laptops holding out?

my dv6000 has had nothing but problems since i got it :/
1st. the A/C adaptor died

2nd. the dvd/rw would only burn at .8x and not well

3rd. the battery although never used, wore itself out somehow and will only last 10-15mins without the ac/adaptor (with all settings turned as low as possible)

4th. the wi-fi board needed to be recalled (stopped working)

5th. my video card/monitor is busted waiting for HP to mail a repair box to send them the laptop

thank god all of it is within warranty :/

wow! The only real problem I've had with the DV9000 are the hinges. My wife's broke then mine did. It wasn't too much to replace them and it only took about an hour each to do. The computer that crapped out on me was a used one from ebay. I don't think that the previous owner was to nice to it.
