Has anyone heard news on a Blu Ray release date?

I wish! This is one of my most anticipated titles.

I figure that since the Godfather is coming out in sept. Coppola will more than likely bring his other great 70's classic Apocalypse Now to blu with the same frame by frame restoration that he has done with the Godfather.

I was just telling my boys about this movie.I had it on a vcr cassette. Bringing it to blu-ray will give it life again. It's a classic as we all know, My kids never seen it and i can't wait till it comes out so i can show them.I could get the dvd but why.We all know blu-ray rocks and i want all my boys to experience it in all it's glory

Apocalypse Now is a title that I have been waiting for as well. One of my favorites from the era I participated in.
Great movie, could be spectacular on Blu Ray.
