Cool help which blue ray to play movies

Hi,,
l have got the new LG scarett lcd 1080p and the sharp bd-hd20x which is connected to the HDMI input on the lcd and the player, via HDMI cable to watch blue ray movies but have come accross some movies that do not play the audio for the main movie because this player does not play DTS-HD or DTS-HD MA or DTS-HD MA (bitstream ,
l don't want to connect to any AMP ect, as this is for my bedroom only
l only want to connect the HDMI cable into the LCD from the back of the player, and want to beable to play all the movies with sound , what ever format that is,

l am now looking for a new player that does , does any one know which blue ray player l can use that will play DTS-HD stright to the LCD via HDMI

thanks

listening to Dts-HD MA and Dolby TrueHD through your TV speakers will not yield much improvement.

Why not just keep your player and set it to PCM downmix? Let it downmix to 2-channel dts and dolby digital.

thanks, l'll try to down mix to PCM and see if there is sound for the movie ,
l think the audio for some movies come out as DTS-HD, say jummper for eg,
but if l had to get another player which one should l get?that will play DTS-HD
from the player? as the sharp does not ,

thanks

they do not internally decode those new HD formats. They would send them bitstream, but your TV would have to decode...which it can't.

You can send 2 channel Lossless audio to the TV. But again, the benefits would be minimal because TV speakers are not the best in the world.

In which case even standard dolby digital and dts would be just as good...in my opinion is why the player you already have will suffice.
