Default How much will Tropic Thunder rain down this weekend?

It would be a pretty big miracle for the Dark Knight to prevail yet anther weekend. How do you see it shaking down?

I hope Tropic Thunder wins the weekend but Stars Wars is Star Wars so it could take it. (even though it looks awful to me and I'm a big S.W fan)

I think word of mouth is already starting (I'm doing my part) and it will have a 30-40 million opening weekend.

Star Wars just doesn't seem to have the buzz I expected.

1. Clone Wars (I won't be seeing it because it looks terrible, but its Star Wars so it'll top the charts for the weekend.)
2. Tropic Thunder
3. The Dark Knight
4. Pineapple Express

I would hope it does well, this seems like a great smart comedy.

I'm becoming less and less interested in Tropic Thunder the more times I see the preview. We get it, you're the dude playing the dude pretending to be another dude. Pick another line for the preview. I guess the only way to judge is to see it. Anyways, I'm picking TDK for tops just so I could say, even though it probably won't, I said it was going to be number one for the 5th straight weekend. It's such a great movie.

That seems very realistic to me, although I think Clone Wars looks awful.

A "smart comedy" ? I guess you must have seen a different trailer than I did. I thought it looked incredibly stupid. Basically, it looked like a remake of Three Amigos only cruder and more vulgar.

I think Star Wars will win the weekend just because it's Star Wars. Nothing better than a huge built-in fan base. But I think SW, TDK and (sadly) Tropic Thunder will all be pretty close in the end.

Please, people! The Dark Knight is still gonna be #1, for the fifth week in a row, I might add! Now I will go see Tropic Thunder just to see Robert Downey Jr. make a complete ass of himself. But in the end, The Dark Knight will still be on top!

Downey Jr is so funny in this movie. IMO he blows everyone else away. Pretty much all of his dialog was great.

I know there will be one scene in this movie that everyone on this site will be talking about later haha
Movie was good but not as good as Pineapple Express IMO.
I hope Mirrors does better then predicted. Looks sick as hell

One of the funniest movies I've seen all year. Great performances, funny concept, and the biggest surprise is that it is beautifully shot.

Glad to see it picked up a bit today.
