Enjoyed this one more than I expected but not sure it's something I have to own. Great performance from Taron Egerton though.

I just watched this last night. This movie is awesome! This totally caught me by surprise. Love the music in it as well

Was one of 3 Movies I own in 4k that I had not seen yet, am borrowing an Oppo 203 from a friend so watching a bunch of 4k's till the end of weekend.

Did it bug you as much as it bugged me that it didn't even slightly resemble Calgary?

Other than that enjoyed it overall though.

Really really enjoyed this film. It was funny without being condescending to the real Eddie Edwards. I thought Jackman might steal the show, but he was only one piece. Taron definitely owned this movie.

I loved how he after 1 jump on the 12 looked up and was instantly ready for the 40m.

Reminds me of my early meeting with alcohol, after 2 weekends of 40 % we were soo ready for 60 %... we were not

This movie is definitely a hidden gem.

He's been back to plastering recently. He pops up in the extras for this plenty though.

Funny, i choose this movie at random to watch, and the prrson its based on is back jumping in calgary only 3 days later

Well, perhaps not totally at random since the world champs is ongoing in finland these days, but tgen again, there is skijumping on tv here in europe for 4-5 months of the year

Edit: the best part of the movie was the Norwegian ski-team being the villains.

Heard on the radio this morning, he'll be jumping from 11:30 to 12:30 with the team, then an autograph session to follow. So if you are in town, you can get your blu-rays signed.

Not sure which jump he'll do, but the 90 meter isn't used anymore due to the design of the landing bowl. So it will be the 70 meter or training jumps.
