Arrow Paramount 2010 Summer Preview

Quote:
LatinoReview has received Paramount Pictures' 2010 Summer Preview, featuring some new stills from "IRON MAN 2", “SHREK FOREVER AFTER”, “THE LAST AIRBENDER”, “DINNER FOR SCHMUCKS”, and "MIDDLE MEN."

Paramount Pictures is also releasing “GREASE SING-ALONG” but there is nothing new there, we've all seen pictures from that film years ago.

Check out the new stills below and let us know what you think.

Iron Man 2 (May 7)

Paramount Pictures and Marvel Entertainment present the highly anticipated sequel to the blockbuster film based on the legendary Marvel Super Hero "Iron Man," reuniting director Jon Favreau and Oscar nominee Robert Downey Jr. In "Iron Man 2," the world is aware that billionaire inventor Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) is the armored Super Hero Iron Man. Under pressure from the government, the press and the public to share his technology with the military, Tony is unwilling to divulge the secrets behind the Iron Man armor because he fears the information will slip into the wrong hands. With Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) and James "Rhodey" Rhodes (Don Cheadle) at his side, Tony forges new alliances and confronts powerful new forces.

Shrek Forever After (May 21)

Shrek is feeling over-domesticated in the fourth installment. He has lost his roar. It used to send villagers running away in terror. Now they run to him and ask him to sign their pitchforks and torches. To regain his ogre mojo, he strikes a deal with Rumpelstiltskin. The pact goes awry and Shrek must confront what life would be like in Far Far Away if he had never existed. That translates into Donkey being forced into cart-pulling duty, fat and lazy Puss in Boots trading his sword for a pink bow and the underhanded Rumpelstiltskin ruling the kingdom.

The Last Airbender (July 2)

Air, Water, Earth, Fire. Four nations tied by destiny when the Fire Nation launches a brutal war against the others. A century has passed with no hope in sight to change the path of this destruction. Caught between combat and courage, Aang (Noah Ringer) discovers he is the lone Avatar with the power to manipulate all four elements. Aang teams with Katara (Nicola Peltz), a Waterbender, and her brother, Sokka (Jackson Rathbone), to restore balance to their war-torn world.

Based on the hugely successful Nickelodeon animated TV series, the live-action feature film “The Last Airbender” is the opening chapter in Aang’s struggle to survive.

Dinner for Schmucks (July 23)

"Dinner for Schmucks" tells the story of Tim (Paul Rudd), a guy on the verge of having it all. The only thing standing between him and total career success is finding the perfect guest to bring to his boss' annual Dinner for Extraordinary People, an event where the winner of the evening brings the most eccentric character as his guest. Enter Barry (Steve Carell), a guy with a passion for dressing mice up in tiny outfits to recreate great works of art. From Jay Roach, director of "Meet the Parents" and "Meet the Fockers" comes an unforgettable feast about two unlikely friends and one very memorable dinner.

Middle Men (TBA)

"Middle Men" centers on a straight-and-narrow businessman who builds the first online billing company dealing exclusively with adult entertainment and finds himself in the middle of a whirlwind filled with starlets, conmen, Russian mobsters, federal agents and international terrorists -- all while trying to hold on to his marriage and family.

And besides, "Sing-along" revivals are only pitched to gay audiences anyway.

The last time they showed the "Airbender" full-trailer (at the "Dragons" screening, I could hear a couple kids behind me already ahead of the title, and excited that they were identifying "Avatar, Avatar!"...And they weren't referring to blue Pocahontas.

Isn't that the one with Renee Zellweger, it came out in the UK (or to put it better, dumped) early in year, with no advertising or reviews or anything, it's a wonder if anyone watched it.

Yeap. I was checking eThaiCD and they have a DVD that's R3. I might get it, currently $13.50.
