United Kingdom Witness (1985) - Harrison Ford - Paramount

Just seen this listing up on Amazon UK. £19.99 with a release date of 2020.

Same transfer as the US release?

That listing has been up for over 3 years and still no UK release.

Ah, apologies after searching the site I couldn't find a thread for it. Shame, maybe I'll get the US BD.

Edit: Just seen the one you linked here on the BD page. Couldn't find it before, strange. This thread should probably be deleted.

This set is a great opportunity to watch 42 with Chadwicks passing for ths first time and it was never released on bluray in the UK. Plus two other never released Ford flicks. Got it for £8 last week

The Harrison Ford blu ray boxset? I got it for £15 a few weeks ago I think, so £8 is a steal. Great movies in it (I got it for one of my all-time favourites, Presumed Innocent, which has no UK release). I'll get round to watching it and 42 soon.

I actually bought Witness on DVD a few months ago, as I think it's OOP in the UK. I can't believe there is no UK blu ray release yet. Same goes for Presumed Innocent and a few other Harrison Ford ones. I wonder why?

Mosquito Coast would be great to get as well in UK release. Need me more Peter Weir.

Witness needs a decent transfer. The US Blu-ray is awful, dates from the days when Paramount just pressed the "DNR whole film" button.

Oops this was a bad bump. I must have clicked on the wrong Ford thread.Sorry for getting peoples hopes up. Witness definitely need a blu.

Was good to see Frantic and Presumed Innocent for the first time since seeing them on ITV decades ago and 42 which I thought was great.

Can anyone confirm if Frantic and Presumed Innocent come on seperate discs in this box set? The listing on this site says that the box set has five discs ; I have the American two in one and the transfer for Frantic suffers a little because of it.
