What is the best Sci Fi blu?

I have a couple that I consider great Blu's. Close Encounters, Bladerunner for starters.

pq wise? Sunshine, I Robot, and Blade Runner look amazing IMO.

Unfortunately Dark City was not seamlessly branched and so the encode is bit-starved. While not terrible it is not the best pq of any sci-fi release.

I, Robot probably has the best PQ of any sci-fi release, but I prefer Blade Runner and 2001: A Space Odyssey because I find the movies more entertaining.

Why hasn't anyone mentioned Starship Troopers

It was a great film and the PQ was insane

Yeah this movie is freeking awesome. I want to get it, probably be on my x-mas list. These next few months are to loaded with good stuff.

I wasn't basing it on PQ alone. I love Dark City's story, while I agree with you on the PQ.

2001 - simply amazing on blu-ray in terms of quality of story, picture and audio
Blade Runner - the release that makes others pale in comparison
Dark City - not quite up to snuff with the others, however the movie itself is a gem

I agree it is a great story that far too few people have even heard of, I just wished that someone other than Warner Brothers would have been able to release it.

I like I, Robot the best PQ wise as well as movie wise. Lots of other great suggestions. I'd say Blade Runner comes in second to this for me.

Starship Troopers my favorite movie !

You think so? I thought the transfer was only ok. but its a good movie.
