Jack trenton mentioned this at E3 and said it will be availible in the fall but when?

i haven't heard anything else about this

You will be able to sign on anywhere with your PSN name, dont you remember jack saying this at E3? you can go to your freinds house and use his ps3 and all your stats will be there.

Did you sign on using your online username and password?

i tried it on my friends ps3 and it didn't work.

This is just for website sign-ins and stuff. Go to killzone.com, beta.myresistance.net, uk.playstation.com, us.playstation.com and sign in. It's all PSN login now.

If you want to login with a new PSN account on another PS3 you make a new User account. Each User account has its own saves list, some saves are linked with PSN accounts so I doubt this system will ever change.

you guys seem to be confused,im talking about using your online id and password with another ps3 using a different ip. try signing on at a freinds house with your user name,you cant.....yet

Yes you can. Thats how you share games. All your info comes up including your trophies as well.

Well it didn't work for me at my freinds house.

it said wrong id and password.

I sign on my brothers PS3 with ease as well.. all my downloads and trophies are there.. you could do this since launch.. I am guessing you mistyped your password or login...

All I can add is I have two PS3. I can log into both using my PSN ID. If I log into he one downstairs and I go to the living Room PS3 and sign on there the one downstairs will automaticly sign out.

Pretty simple really. The only issue for me is GAME saves. They are not part of your ID which is a pain as I can't play PJ Eden and then continue on the other one etc...
