Default okay, what's going on here...

I have a Sony's blu-ray drive in my PC with a 22" HP 2207 and a ATI 4850 video card. I can play other blu's fine but I just got Transformers and it's telling me my display isn't HDCP compliant. WTF!

I'm using Cyberlink PowerDVD btw.

Please don't tell me I have to get a whole new monitor. I just got this in April!!

I've seen that happen before, Cyberlink freaks out every now and again (thats why I use TMT). Have you restared the machine and tried it again (I know this is the catch all solution in the PC realm but it works). Other than that I don't know - I'm not buying Transformers.

QFT. The easiest solution is often the best.

If that doesn't work, however, try playing an older disc again (one that worked before)... just to make sure something like a new video card driver didn't throw the whole thing off. If the older disc works but Transformers still doesn't, you may need to wait for an update from Cyberlink. If the older title doesn't work any longer, either, then you might try rolling back your video driver if you recently updated it, and seeing if that corrects a problem.

At any rate, it's not a hardware fault, as all your equipment is HDCP compliant, so you shouldn't be having problems. Run threw the usual steps: 1) check for PowerDVD updates, 2) if none are found, uninstall then reinstall PowerDVD, 3) and if all of the above still doesn't help, connect your monitor by VGA instead of DVI till whatever problem gets resolved by Cyberlink.

Actually the problem was I didn't plug the monitor back in to the right DVI output.. I guess.

I have 2 on my card and i recently unplugged everything to install a hdd and i guess it wasn't in the one i had it in before.. or something lol.

Either way, it works lmao.

I feel like a tool lol.
