In short, this was said about HD content:

* Branagh's Hamlet is done, and will be out before the end of the Summer. In SD, HD-DVD and Blu-Ray.

* Warner doesn't know when their sister company New Line is releasing the LOTR films onto HD DVD/Blu-ray.

* LA Confidential coming on it's 10th Anniversary this year, also in HD DVD and Blu-ray.

* Deliverance is coming on SD, HD DVD and Blu-ray later this year.

* Poltergiest coming out on SD DVD, HD DVD and Blu-ray this year.

* Blade Runner will have the same material as the SD DVD, HD DVD and Blu-ray.

* Warner still has plans to release every HD DVD title onto Blu-ray.

* More Kubrick coming out on HD DVD and Blu-ray later this year.

* Heat coming to HD DVD and Blu-ray in 2008.

Lots of great titles will be coming on HD-DVD and Blu-Ray this year....and even more next year!

Fans can expect to hear about many more of our new DVD releases and HD-DVD/Blu-Ray releases in the next few weeks. We're sure fans will be very happy with a lot of the news.

The longer this Warner catch up runs out, the more I see them just stopping HD DVD production of all their titles and going strickly with Total HD. They'll be all caught up when they re-release all their stuff on Total HD.

I'm going to end up importing all their stuff from Japan, where you know they can't pull that kind of crap.

Yeah it looks like they were pretty tight-lipped about the questions regarding BD/HD-DVD. Notice no discussions on the format war, and particularly TotalHD.

No questions outside of titles and specific product release information was allowed and was stated up front -- one person asked if they were happy with the sales numbers for hd/blu-ray and got shouted down.

I guess it was for the best really -- a lot of Hd fanbois would have whined about the lack of support for HD... and i'm sure they would've got more than a couple of comments that THD is a really bad idea...

Where did it say Poltergeist SE was this year? Or is that public domain that the DVD is coming this year (I don't follow DVD anymore!)
