Well if you can't figure out to either a) buy from another home retailer such as Target, K-Mart b) go to a mall c) buy online from Amazon or other retailer d) blow through a straw.....then there really isn't much we can do for you. We are talking about a simple can of compressed air - they are not a specialty item, by any means.

radio shack, wal-mart, target, k-mart, sears, home depot, lowes, ace hardware, many places. If you dont live near any of those i.e. you live on a deserted island, and if you have a balloon handy, fill that up with air and squeeze it out into your ps3.

That's a TERRIBLE idea. The moisture from your breath condenses in the balloon and would shoot out of the balloon introducing moisture into the PS3 potentially wreaking havoc because as we all know moisture + electronics = bad things.

Shame on you. Shame on you and your attempt to ruin a PS3.

meh...you might want to think about using a vacuum...unless you plan on taking the whole cover off...the pressurized air will push more dirt in than it will force out...

I just use a vacuum on the front to "suck" the dirt off and out of it.

You seem to know a bit about all this. Is it even necessary to use a compressed air can to clean a PS3? I heard somewhere that the PS3 fans just blow air out, thus making cleaning the inside a thing of the past. Is that true?

if it blows air out, it must take air in from somewhere otherwise there'd be no air to blow out.

Why would it push dirt in? There is no dirt inside of the can

I've used the canned air on mine and several dust bunnies came outta there. I think its a good idea to use canned air.

You shouldn't use compressed air because it can shoot dust clogs into the fans - the best way to clean is a low power vaccum.. like a dust buster.
