Well my local Boomerang here in Bangkok has BAD BOYS listed as coming out 25th September 2008. No more info tho. Pacific

Marketing has the rights here in Thailand and have just released THE BONE COLLECTOR here (with Dolby TrueHD)

Well I was able to confirm BAD BOYS is indeed being released in Thailand on Thursday 25th September 2008 (Thursday's are the release day for Thailand) C/O Pacific Marketing (Sony). Audio is Dolby TrueHD 5.1 and DD 5.1 English and possibly Japanese, Cantonese and Thai subs. No details on extras as of yet. I have pre ordered it and will let you know what its like when i get it in my hands.

Will Smith has said he wants to make it but it's questionable that Sony could afford Smith, Martin Lawrence, and Michael Bay in addition to the huge budget an action movie like this would have. Those 3 alone would probably cost at least $60 million, and probably another $100 million + to make and market the film. Too much risk for an R rated movie most likely.
