Yeah I noticed them too. What gives ?
I'm not even sure what they are there for as when I clicked on them, nothing special happened though I thought I was going to be taken from a website in English to one in Korean but nope.

they allow you to see movies that are released in UK and South Korea. You can turn them off in system prefs and only see what is released in USA.

Perhaps the update in prefrences doesn't happen right away? Just a guess.

I think you're right, it takes about 24hrs for the gov't to approve the change.

Go to https://www.blu-ray.com/settings/ then click off all the flags you don;t want or need to see, then click update settings and no more flags.

Uncheck Show all region free titles if you don't want to see the flags that "don't go away" on listings.

If you mean the ones on the top right corner of the front page, they are there so you notice you can change countries in settings.
