HELP! Having prob with Smallville season 7 blu-ray discs - Blu-ray Forum

Hi there. Are any of you having any problems with your DVD's? I have season 7 on blu-ray and each disc does not provide an episode menu like they did on all of the other seasons. I tried all three blu-ray discs and the only menu there is, is the menu for the special features, not the episodes unless I use a different menu button on the remote. Plus there is no them music intro with clips from the season on these discs like there is on all other seasons of Smallville on DVD. Is this happening to you also? Did they make these changes to the regular DVD box set as well?

thats common with Warner blu-rays most of them all are like this

Not when it comes to their TV-On-DVD releases! The above mentioned scenario is definitely strange as with TV-On-DVD they often have a main menu so that you can access individual episodes more easily.

I found the episode menu but I have to say, it was much much much better on the regular DVD box sets. I LOVED hearing the theme song play as they would show the season clips before the episode menu would appear when I would pop in a Smallville DVD. I'm taking it back to Best Buy and exchanging it for the regular DVD box set. I hope this doesn't turn out to be the same thing on the regular DVD's.

I have the sony remote control and hitting the Pop Up Menu will bring up a menu with episode selection.

I didn't try the regular Top Menu button though.. so not sure if there is another menu system or not.

There's this same "issue" with Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles but it doesn't really bother me. All you really have to do is hit the button to bring up the pop-up menu and select your episode that way. Not the most convienient way, but definitely wouldn't consider trading in my BD version for DVD. That's just SHEER MADNESS

All fixed now. I returned it and just purchased the regular DVD box set. I like how Smallville DVD's have the montage with the song and the shots of the season. The Blu-ray didn't come with that for some odd reason so I just took it back and exchanged it. I already put a DVD in and I got to see the montage and watched Bizarro and Kara and the quality is perfect.

I've been having tons of problems with:

Smallville Season 7 and What Happens In Vegas.

I'm taking it to Circuit City to get it fixed tomorrow though.
