Exclamation Disney Pixar's new movie - UP

Coming May 29, 2009. It looks like it could be a lot of fun. Dang it! Now I am certain I can't get this on blu-ray until a year from now.

I love Pixar, even though I'm way too old for it, but they still are entertaining.

I thought this was suppose to be in 2D, but here the website clearly looks like a 3D animation to me....

I gotta be missing something here.
Ballons, then a house floating upwards because of a bunch of ballons attached to it.

Is that it for the trailer?

Being PIXAR, it will no doubt look great, but if that's all there is to it for a trailer... it seems a little lacking, no?

I'm glad you said that. It doesn't even state the premise of the movie.

There is a REASON why Pixar teasers have now become such inscrutably plot-vague "teasers":

That reason is called Jeffrey Katzenberg.
Just let him try and figure out the plot of this one six months ahead of time.

Ok, it's a teaser... so the entire movie is only about a geezer on the porch of a floating house?

Was "Ratatouille" just about Remy getting chased with knives?
Was "Cars" just about Mater saying "Dadgum!"?

(It's called ambiguity...Live with it--
Otherwise, try using the Internet to learn things...)

Do a search with any seacrch engine for teasers for any movie.
They will all have more than a single scene and have a little substance.

Ratatouille - remember the teaser? Shall I give you a link to it? http://www.apple.com/trailers/disney/ratatouille/
Cars - remember the teaser? Do you need a link to that one too? http://www.apple.com/trailers/disney/cars/

This 44 second thing doesn't inspire... anything.
Doesn't show but one character - and a house with baloons. YAY!

"So, 90 minutes of a mouse getting chased?...That's a Tom & Jerry cartoon!"

"I killed a baby bumblebee!"
(Oh, lordy...The teaser even Pixar had to pretend never existed . )

And an old feller being neighborly--
Which, for those of us with ambiguous curiosity and longer attention-spans, at least tells us that Paul Newman won't be playing a race car in it.
