Default Klipsch RW 12d subwoofer and others...

Hi,
Klipsch RW 12d owners, what volume level is your subwoofer set at and what channel level is it set at the receiver?

If U don't own this sub, please post the brand and model of the subwoofer U have and its setting (volume and channel).

I have mine set at -15 sub volume and -3.5 channel level on the receiver. With this setting, however, the subwoofer is almost not heard or felt (it the setting from the auto calibration of the receiver). It comes to life when I increase the volume on the sub at -10. Is it normal?

Thanks.

-12 on the sub, -8 on the receiver, LFE Mode, Depth, 180 phase

Try adjusting your phase on the sub, it is a very powerful subwoofer and should easily be heard at that volume (unless your room is huge), the sub may just be out of phase.... if this is not the case then just turn it up to -10 and leave it there

The phase is set at 0 degree as directed by the receiver's manual. The room is small by the way.

change the phase, play with it and see what happens.... worst case scenario there will be no improvement... but my room is about 16x12 if i remember correctly... and mine is set far lower than yours... sounds to me like it may be out of phase
