Default chronicles of narnia?

Any news of a chronicles of narnia extended blu-ray... I don't want to get the theatrical version but hadn't read news on the extended cut. I DID search, but some of you are a lot more in the know than me!

The extended cut seriously sucks... . Andrew Adamson only added like 6 minutes of needless and occasionally corny scenes. The added scene with Peter spearing the flying hairless beast that was chasing the phoenix was terrible, he threw the spear like 50 feet in the air and got it dead on... LAME! The extended scenes disrupt the flow of the movie.

My opinion aside, to answer your question, I know of no plans for the extended version on BD. You should go ahead and get the standard release, I have it and the PQ an AQ are amazing.

It would've been nice to have the extra scenes as an option to play with the movie on the BD release. That way both people who like and don't like the extended version would be happy. Oh well, such is life.

There're also some invisible seconds added on to the "ice" scenes in the first half (eg., the Beavers serving the children "fish and chips", beaver style) that blend in so well, you'd notice them missing from the Theatrical--
But if--apart from New Line LOTR envy--the only other reason we got the Extended 4-disk was that they hadn't finished the Gargoyle vs. Eagles fight...er, don't bother.

(Still, it'd be nice to see the CS Lewis feature-documentary turn up on a future double-dip...Regretted having to sell the SD for that one.)

Yeah, like the added shot of the fish flash-frozen in the ice. The fish and (wood)chips scene is in the theatrical release though.

Some of the extended scenes are neat, but the Gargoyle vs. Eagles fight was so badly done it ruined that version for me.

I haven't seen the extended cut. I just figured and extended cut might be branched with the theater cut... SO I'd have both.

Thanks for the replies though.
