Default Audio Formats

HI I"m new here, and I'm sure this has been asked before, but I"m curious about all these new audio formats and how their output from the machine. If I don't have an HDMI compatible reciever, but do have digital and analong inputs, which would each of these formats use?
1. DD plus
2. DD Trud HD
3. PCM 5.1

are they digital or analog output? Thanks for the info
NO I don't have a Blu-Ray yet. STill waiting for MArantz to get with the program. i have a marantz upconvert and reciever now, love them. Would consider the sony though

they are digital formats, and depending on the players outputs/decoders/capacities/connections to your receiver, they can be outputed digitally through hdmi, optical etc , or converted to analog on the RCA jacks

Well i think Dolby True-HD is 7.1, Dolby Digital is UP TO 13.1 & PCM is only 5.1 which is the amount of audio channels capability, how you have it written is the quality order as far as i can gather.
