Denon 3808 DRC help

i cannot figure out how to turn the DRC off on my reciever, hell i dont even know if its on. i read thru the manual and where it tells me to go for it, it just doesnt show up. anyone got some ideas or help for me?

I have the Denon 4308Ci. I assume the menu is the same as yours. If you play a CD with your player, the menu does not show that option. In fact, if you turn off your receiver and the player and turn them back on, it will still remember the previous setting. The solution is very easy. Play a DVD with Dolby Digital or DTS. Now go back to the menu and that option will show up. In my receiver, it works like this.

Go to the main menu
Go to Parameters
Go to Audio
Go to Surr. Parameters
You will see Cinema EQ and under that, you will see D. Comp.
My receiver gives three options for D. Comp.: Low, Medium, and High

Try it and hopefully it will work.
