I’m in the EU, and there hasn’t been any info on an EU release. So I’m thinking about important from the US. There’s nothing to be found about a possible region lock. It says A, but some Regio A movies can be played on a B player aswell. Anyone with more info?

It’s a Universal release, and Universal doesn’t region lock.

False. There have been Uni releases where there is region locking (Parasite, Hustlers, Apollo 11 just to name a few).

In terms of Apollo 11, Uni doesn't have worldwide rights and it's a CNN Films release.

Wow i loved this, absolutely delightful, Emilia and Henry Golding were fantastic, especially Emilia. The movie wouldn't be nearly as good without her in the lead role. I loved the London at Christmas vibe.

I just watched all of Game of Thrones and liked her in that and also T5 and I thought she stole the show in Me Before You. But for some reason her performance just didn't do anything for me in this one.

Totally agree! London is already my favorite city, especially during the Christmas season, so the setting of this movie was tailor-made for me. I wouldn't say I'm the biggest romcom fan, but this one was cute and I agree the performances were solid. I actually wasn't familiar with Emilia, but I liked Henry in the stuff I'd seen him in and they played well off each other. A cute little film!

The three you mentioned there are all films Universal simply distributed in the United States, whereas another studio actually financed/owns the film. The region locking likely wasn't up to Universal in these instances. So, even though those titles are region locked, it's still mostly accurate to say Universal's standing policy is to not region lock discs.

yeah, agree, one of the best of this genre

sucks that they didn't give it a UHD, I saw the 4k DCP in theaters and it was THE best picture quality I've ever seen for a 4k DCP, most detailed, sharpest looking ever, even a bit beyond Passengers and with more brilliant colors

this should have been THE reference UHD, but of course that means it gets on a blu-ray

Is it the same features as the previous release? I just bought that one used and it’s on my way to me - seemed like no one was carrying it new anymore. If this one has different special features I’m going to be a little bummed I jumped on that used copy...

I don't like the cover art, but I love that they put Michelle on the cover so prominently (albeit heavily photoshopped, like everyone else), it's almost like she's the star of the film, and wouldn't I have seen it if she had been.

I don't want to get this, though, as I don't believe I've liked any of Paul Feig's films that I've seen.

I'm glad this new artwork shows Henry Goulding's pretty face more. Hoping it comes with a slip, I'll definitely double dip.
