PS3 and adobe or flash, how?? - Blu-ray Forum

the new firmware has support, but it still needs to be downloaded, wright, which version of adobe or flash, they are all based on windows, mac or linux, none say sony browser.

The firmware will enable the PS3 browser to load up sites that contain Flash 9 content. Don't quite understand what you're asking.

well i want to watch heros on nbc .com, but said it needs an install/plugin, then the site lists windows, mac, but no sony , how do i watch the shows

I thought it did support Flash, I mean I have watched YouTube on my PS3 and that is Flash.

We are talking Adobe Flash right? Is it updated?

yeah flash 9 support came with yesterdays update.

You DO NOT NEED TO INSTALL IT it was preinstalled with the firmware, you don't have to do anything.

Flash 9 is on your PS3 already with system software 2.50 but some sites annoyingly require an extra plugin or script to run and they're not designed to run on the PS3.

I did but I will try again, you tube is fine, it was just some videos on yahoo, or movie previews on itunes. and nbc or cbs survivor extras.

Is it worth it to get a bluetooth keyboard.

Just checked and the Apple Aluminum (Aluminium

) bluetooth keyboard still pairs up great with the PS3.

email nbc i already have emailed cw and abc about their full episode players to see if they are going to make it ps3 compatible

Tried last night, hulu works but is tiny, for the distance I sit.It wont let you do full screen.

Tried nbc.com again, said need flash 9, now I understand in previous post that is what is on there. But still now working, I guess I can send email to nbc like previous. But is anybody able to watch a show from nbc or yahoo for that matter.

Hulu might not, but the PS3 will let you do full screen. Hit R3 (push in right analog stick), then use R2/L2 to zoom in and out, move screen around with the right stick.

we already got flash 9 the reason it doesnt work is because of either a plug in from nbc needs to be downloaded which you cant do or it just doesnt work with our browser
