Question about being banned from Amazon

I am returning something and I am afraid that I might get banned.
If I get banned, would they refund my money for prime membership for the remainder of the year?

I don't think they are going to ban you for returning one item.

Yep, you won't get ban for returning 1 item, the ban is for people who abuse there system.

Ive only seen proof of one person being banned, and it turned out later on the forum he posted on, that he was not doing normal returns, he was claiming that items were missing from his shipment. Turns out, he claimed over the past 2 years that over 20 items were missing from shipments and amazon would send him a replacement. In that case, i can totally see Amazon cutting him off. I myself have returned like 10 items over the past 5 years and have no problem. Its people that abuse the system and instead of admitting what they did, try to spin it into something tame to produce outrage.

People taking advantage of amazons great service could be one of the reasons that amazon has made many changes.

I also don't think they will ban you if you return something (that you bought there!).
However in case someone gets banned I do not think they will refund any Prime Membership fees that have already been paid.

Care to share what and why you are returning ? Your post does not sound like it is just a regular "doesn't fit" or "does not work with my system" kind of return.

Honestly thats theft,no different from shoplifting If you steal from a B&M store they ban you from the store right? Well this is what happened, I dont feel sorry for the individual

I've only had one issue with Amazon, and was amazed at their response. I received a BD order with no BD in the box. Yep, it was empty. I called them, and they immediately sent me out another one, no questions asked. A1 customer service.
