General PS3 question - Blu-ray Forum

Does anyone know if it is possible to listen to music ripped to the hard-drive while you are playing games. If there is a way, I havent figured it out. Any help would be cool.

That sounds like a good idea, but wouldn't the music interfere with the game to much?

i think with certain games it will but for snowboarding games and such like that it will not be such an interference i think it will be left to developer like with original xbox

It could interfere with some gameplay, and if it does, just dont put on the music. I play a lot of sports games and don't want to hear John Madden repeat 10 things over and over.

I agree. Rather than be up to the developer it should be up to us. I don't need to hear John "Master of the Obvious" Madden either.
