Purchase a Blu-Ray disc player - Blu-ray Forum

I am going to achieve by goal by purchasing a 46inch LCD sharp aquos and a Blu-Ray disc player. any suggestion on the brand of player and model recommended to a learner? I am from the tropics.

Sony BDP-S350 or a PS3

Edit: What are you doing about audio? If you are using analog there are other considerations....

For the price and features a Sony BDP-350..if you are a gamer then the PS3.

It depends on your budget as well.
Players are starting to trickle down to the $200 range on sales lately.

Is internet access a must for you?
Do you need HD audio via analog or digital?

PS3's are still $399.( not counting the discount giving your first born to the Sonystyle store credit card.

)

Also, the PS3 has this cool feature if you have a 2.0/internet extra movie, the PS3 will ask you if you want to connect to the internet each time a 2.0 movie is loaded.
