Default Saw Movies

Any predictions on if they will release all 5 Saw movies in a bundle maybe with a 6th disc of special features and a little souvenir jigsaw doll included. that would rock. SAW 5 comes in Oct.. to theaters

If so, it'll probably only be the director's cut of each film. I'd expect Saw 5 on dvd and blu-ray in February, and the box set not long after.

Unless you think saw 5 is the last saw movie. Perhaps a saw 1-10 bundle is more likely in 2012.

I'm sure they'll keep making them until they fail to turn a profit, and nothing wrong with that.

They said they were stopping after 6. I loved the first one, but to me each one after gets progressively worse and less interesting to me.

I thought Saw 1 to 4 on BD were already the director cuts. Since Saw 1 on BD is the only one that doesn't have an "unrated" or "director's cut" tag, I matched the run time of my "Saw: Unrated Director's Cut" DVD with it and they were the exact same length. I think we're safe from a double dip, except for the nice packaging that might come with a 5-6 disc set.

They said that from the start they were planning on making 7 of them.... so, dont count on a box set yet.... as for Saw being a good series of movies... i personally love them.... Saw 2 is the only one i dont really like.... but i like all the others... cant get enough of em... i say make 100 of them

I keep forgetting there's one more year left on this franchise. Sorry. We're at Saw 5 and there's 6 (at least until Lionsgate changes their minds again).

how far removed from Jigsaw are they planning on going to get 6 (or 7) movies? Hasn't someone else been acting as the facilitator of Jigsaw's game since No. 2 or 3?

We'll probably get a box set once the series is finished. It's weird that they release Harry Potter boxes mid-franchise, I don't see that happening here...

Yeah, Saw 1 is the theatrical cut, which according to the directors is their preferred cut anyway. They added a few seconds of gore for the "unrated" DVD to boost sales, not because it was necessarily the "director's cut" or anything.

Well we know there will be AT LEAST 6. Did they ever say they were actually stopping after 6? I know the original plan was just for 3, but the studio wanted to keep making more - I figured they'd just keep making them until they stopped making money at this point.

"SAW"

that they were gonna go to 6 and depending on how that went they would move to a 7th and that would be it??

i also like these movies and don't understand why people can't enjoy a good popcorn flick.

in French "SAW 6" is pronounced like "saucisse" which is "sausage" ...

never liked these movies, as Hostel, it's pure sadism, with only pain and desperation, and no suspense or fantastic relief
